Temperature is managed through a simple mechanical thermostat with seven cooling levels. Setting 1 is the warmest, setting 7 is the coldest and the documented operating range is approximately 6.8°F to -7.6°F. Position 0 stops refrigeration, but the cord must still be unplugged before cleaning or defrosting. A lower cabinet drain helps direct meltwater out during manual defrost maintenance. For best results, transfer the food, disconnect power and allow the frost to soften naturally rather than using sharp scrapers, boiling water or electrical heating tools. This household freezer is designed for freestanding indoor installation and operates on grounded 115V, 60Hz power. Set it on a level surface, use the adjustable feet for stability and maintain at least 5 inches between every side of the cabinet and surrounding walls.
