Our weatherproof generator shed is a generator enclosure, with steel frame and waterproof covers on top and all 4 sides, to let you store and run your portable generator at the same outdoor location. It makes your portable generator act like a standby generator as you can pre-hook up everything and just start the engine in power outage. It not only saves your garage space for storage but also eliminates the moving & set up process each time you run the generator in storm weather. Comparing to the traditional running generator covers or generator tents which protect your generators from top only, our sheds have side covers locked to the steel frame from top to the bottom in either open or closed position so they not only protect the generator side surfaces but also stay firm and will not flip or swing to touch the running generator’s hot surface in windy weather. The sheds are designed to lock to the top frame of the generator with some ground clearance so you can still move the generator with shed on if needed. While there is no one size that fits all, we have 4 shed sizes – Small, Standard, Large & Extra Large for you to select based on your specific generator size. Our sheds weigh from 12 lbs to 25 lbs and they are about 3 times heavier than the traditional generator covers and generator tents designs. While our generator sheds cost more to manufacture and ship, they have more functions & better stability and provide the best value for your investment.
